CSD V27 Introduces Agentic AI That You Control

Key AI Agents in Civil Site Design V27
Welcome to Civil Site Design V27. This latest release brings a massive leap forward in how you interact with your designs, delivering significant improvements across AI assisted workflows, drainage design, model editing, and 3D visualization. We're pleased to introduce Project Assist AI, an integrated platform engineered to provide context where support and analysis within your CAD environment. TEX is your technical support and reporting assistant. It analyzes project data to generate reports and provide real time answers by searching the skill library and inspecting your live drawing. You can use TEX to review specifications or save HTML reports to your computer. Creating complex conditional cross sections is now faster than ever with Intelligent Sections AI. Instead of manually building decision tables, you can simply describe your section requirements in plain natural language, and whether or not you need ditches, bench daylighnts, or retaining walls, the AI automatically generates the underlying logic and decision tables for you. We've also introduced Fast Track, formerly known as Project Assist, an AI powered project setup tool. Just describe your project conceptually, and Fast Track will automatically identify road center lines, detect curb returns and boundaries, and suggest the appropriate cross section templates. new stage storage tool automates basin and depression storage analysis. It quickly calculates spill elevations and generates stage storage tables. Best of all, it provides a highly interactive 3D visualization environment to accurately assess your detention basins and wetlands. Visualizing your design alongside other project elements has been vastly expanded. Civil Site Design V27 now supports visualizing and sectioning native CAD 3D geometry, including 3D polylines, solids, meshes, and faces. You can view these directly alongside your Civil Design models in model viewer, the vertical grading editor, and quick section tools. Finally, pipe networks now have a dedicated centralized home within the Civil Site Design tool space. This interface provides a structured hierarchical view for managing your pipes, structures, and catchments alongside options for profile plotting and network exporting.
